About Me

Vicki Lopez

My Journey

With over twenty years of experience in the fitness industry, my journey began when I discovered the transformative power of fitness and mindfulness. I have a masters degree in education, and decades of experience in all facets of the fitness industry.

I started as a cerified Yoga instructor, expanding soon after to Spin and Pilates, specifically mat and reformer, indoor cycle, indoor rowing, and core, strength, and total fit classes. I combine vast qualifications and experience in specific fields with a love of teaching and an understanding of the significance of fitness and the body's power. I've dedicated my career to helping others find strength, balance, and peace through movement.

I have worked as a coach for sports teams, as a private trainer for years, been a trainer and coach for gyms and fitness clubs, and I have been an instructor for more than 20 years of fitness classes. I am a certified Pilates instructor, Yoga Teacher, and Shamanic Healer in the tradition of my ancestral Qechua people.

My path has led me to explore not just physical wellness, but the deeper connections between mind, body, and spirit. This holistic approach has shaped my practice and teaching philosophy, and I invite you to join me in this approach.

Teaching Philosophy

At 36 I was an avid athlete but injured my back due to a cycling incident. That's when I found Pilates and it changed my life. Pilates has made me stronger than I thought possible and I went back to being an athlete stronger than ever. I'm currently still an athlete and I truly can say it's because of all the years of flexibility through yoga and the strength through Pilates. I currently row competitively and my vision is to continue being a competitive athlete well into and pass my 70s.

I believe in creating a supportive, inclusive environment where everyone feels welcome to explore movement and healing at their own pace. My approach combines traditional wisdom with modern understanding, ensuring safe and effective practices that nurture the whole person.

Whether through movement, meditation, or energy work, my goal is to help you discover your own path to wellness and inner strength. Every session is an opportunity to grow, heal, and transform.
